Sea surface temperature at the Marian Cove, King George Island, Antactica in 2015
Sea surface temperature observed at coast of King Sejong Station, Antarctica in 2015. Infrared sensor (Apogee) was used to measure SST. During sea-ice period, measured temperature represent sea-ice surface temperature not SST. Data interval has been obtained continuously at 30-minute interval. Surface temperature plays critical role in determining air-sea-seaice heat flux. SST (or Sea-ice surface temperature) is used to interpret measured turbulent heat flux.
