Eddy covariance data of Nome permafrost site in 2026
Turbulent fluxes of momentum, heat, water vapor, CO2 had been measured during summertime in 2026 at Nome, Alaska to monitor and understand energy/water/green-house-gas flux over permafrost region. An eddy-covariance system, consisting of 3-D sonic anemometer (CSAT3BH), closed-path CO2/H2O gas analyzer (EC155) was used for the measurement. Timezone is UTC-9 and fluxes are 30-minute interval. Variables(Unit) are Fc (umole/m2/s), LE (W/m2), SHF (W/m2), Ustar (m/s).
