ApRES (Autonomous phase-sensitive Radio Echo Sounder) data in Nansen Ice Shelf in 2024
ApRES (Autonomous phase-sensitive Radar Echo Sounder) measures the radar reflection signal from the internal and basal interface of ice shelf. The radar return signals are used to estimate the basal melt rate under ice shelves. In early 2025, we recovered the raw data for about 1 month from 2 stations near the grounding line of Nansen Ice Shelf.
