EK60 Data in Amundsen Sea, Antarctic in 2016

Acoustic survey was conducted to understand the variability of zooplankton distribution around Dotson ice shelf in the Amundsen Sea. Acoustic data were collected from surface to 500-m depths using a scientific echo sounder (EK60, Simrad) configured with down-looking 38, 120, and 200 kHz split-beam transducers mounted in the hull of IBRV Araon To identify the horizontal and vertical distribution of zooplankton around Dotson ice shelf.
