1999 Sediment Core, Antarctica

Korean Antarctic survey was conducted in the continental margin off the Anvers Island of the northwestern Antarctic Peninsula. The research period was from 25 Nov. in 1999 to 3 Jan. in 2000 (8 days). We took on Korean R/V "Onnuri" (KORDI) and 13 researchers participated in the cruise, including acquisition of multichannel seismic, gravity, and magnetometer as well as a detailed samplings (box cores, gravity cores, and grab samples). 1. Geophysical researches (Multichannel seismic, SBP, gravity, and magnetometer surveys) 2. Paleoceanographic researches
