The complete T. quadricornis mitochondrion was sequenced by high-throughput Illumina HiSeq platform. This complete mitochondrial DNA information of T. quadricornis will provide an essential genomic resource to elucidate the phylogenetic relationship and evolutionary history of the family Cottidae.
