CTD data, oxygen and hydrogen isotopes, SPM, POC, carbon stable isotopes, radiocarbon isotopes, and lignin parameters for suspended particulate matter (SPM) from the Mackenzie Trough, Canadian Beaufort Sea
Our primary objectives were to: (1) characterize the composition of POC in SPM using bulk geochemical parameters (POC content, δ13Corg, and Δ14Corg) and lignin phenol biomarkers; (2) evaluate the applicability of a sediment-based mixing model to SPM in the surface mixed layer; and (3) provide direct evidence for the presence and transport of petrogenic OC in Arctic surface waters.
