CTD Data surrounding Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge in Arctic, 2012
An intensive oceanographic survey was conducted during 35 days from 2012 August 4 to September 7 by IBRV ARAON to measure the spatial and temporal variation of water masses in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge. The profiles of temperature, salinity and depth were obtained using CTD/Rosette system at 102 areas. To investigate the variability in spatial and temporal distribution of water masses and understand its transformation along the pathways and relationship with sea ice melting in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge.
