Sea level change over the Southern Ocean (1993-2024) calculated from multi-source satellite altimetry data
Linear trends of sea surface elevation change during 1993-2024 (unit: mm/yr) were calculated from multi-source satellite altimetry data, together with monthly mean sea level anomaly (SLA) fields (unit: mm) for all months (January-December). The initial altimetry data were obtained from the CMEMS data center (https://data.marine.copernicus.eu/product/SEALEVEL_GLO_PHY_L4_MY_008_057/description). For the trend estimation, only data from the austral winter season (JFMA) were used, and missing values (NaNs) at each grid point were explicitly taken into account. The file is provided in MATLAB binary format (.mat) and can be directly loaded in MATLAB.
