Global surface air temperature from CESM2 ensemble hindcast simulation for the 1996-2024 summer

This dataset provides surface temperature reforecasts derived from seasonal hindcasts produced with the Community Earth System Model version 2 (CESM2). The model was initialized on 1 May each year from 1996 to 2024 and integrated for four months (May–August). For every start year, 10 ensemble members were generated to support the evaluation of the seasonal prediction system based on the Earth system model for the Arctic–Korean Peninsula region.
