Underway measurements of CH4 and CO2 in the surface seawater and the atmosphere

Atmospheric and marine CO2 and CH4 in the marine boundary layer were monitored from August 31 to September 19 by the GC 7890A along the cruise track of R/V Araon from Barrow, U.S.A., to Nome, U.S.A., carrying out an expedition in The Chukchi Sea and East Siberian Sea. The air inlet to the instrument was located at 29 m asl and the sea water inlet was located at 7m depth. To investigate ocean emissions of CO2 and CH4 in the Arctic Ocean
