Hydroacoustic data in Terra Nova Bay, 2025

Collaborating with NOAA, an Autonomous Underwater Hydrophone (AUH) was deployed in Terra Nova Bay in December 2024 as part of the ANA15A research cruise. The objective of the deployment was to monitor icequakes, tectonic activities, and ocean ambient noise. The AUH was successfully recovered in March 2026.
