Genome sequences of eight screened bacteria from Alaskan soil cores. Microorganisms from Alaskan soil cores were screened on media containing cellulose, xylan, and chitin. Eight bacteria showing cellulase, esterase, and xylanase activity were identified and sequenced using nanopore technology.
