Hourly nitrogen uptake by phytoplankton in Marian Cove (2021-2022)
Three field surveys were conducted during austral summer in Marian Cove (30 December 2021 and 13 and 25 January 2022) . On 30 December 2021, field surveys were conducted at five stations (MC19, MC3, MC7, MC10 and MC16) located along the center of the cove from the outside to the inside with the glacier front. The objectives of this study are as follow: to investigate N substance uptake rates (nitrate, ammonium and urea) using 15N-labeled tracers in Marian Cove during austral summer in 2021-2022.
