Permafrost core samples in Council, Alaska, USA in 2016
Bulk and core samples from four sites of tussock and inter-tussock areas were collected in August. 2016. In the active layer, soil pits were made and bulk samples were collected from the face of opened pits. After describing soil profiles in the active layer, soil cores were acquired by SIPRI corer.
