2018 KOPRI North Greenland Sirius Passet collection (modified)
This entry includes the Early Cambrian fossils from Sirius Passet, North Greenland, collected by 2016-2018 KOPRI expedition. The collections include various kinds of marine invertebrates, representing morphology of the early stage of animal evolution. Total of ca. 2000 kg of fossils were collected during 2016-2018 expedition. The Early Cambrian fossils will help us understand the rise of the first animals during the Cambrian Explosion.
