LADCP data observed in the Terra Nova Bay, Ross Sea, in December, 2022 (ANA13A)
An investigation was conducted in Terra Nova Bay, Ross Sea during the ARAON cruise (ANA13A) in December 2022 to examine the impact of glacier and/or sea-ice meltwater on marine environments. As part of this research effort, LADCP (Lowered ADCP, ADCP attached to the CTD frame) profiles were collected at 66 stations. These profiles provided measurements of ocean currents at various locations. The collection and analysis of these LADCP profiles aimed to gain insights into the patterns and dynamics of water currents influenced by the presence of glacier and/or sea-ice meltwater in Terra Nova Bay.
