Genome sequence of Paenibacillus sp R4
Microorganisms from Alaskan soil cores were screened on media containing cellulose, xylan, and chitin. Paenibacillus sp R4 showing cellulase, esterase, and xylanase activity were identified and sequenced using nanopore technology.
