Antarctic SON Mean Ozone Anomalies Classified by SFW Timing (ERA5, 1979–2022)
These two datasets provide information on springtime (September–November) stratospheric ozone anomalies classified according to the timing of the stratospheric final warming (SFW). Both datasets were processed during the research workflow associated with Choi et al. (2024) and is intended for analyzing the interannual variability of springtime Antarctic ozone according to the timing of the SFW. Information on the SFW onset dates can be found in Choi et al. (2024) and can be downloaded through the KPDC (Data ID: KOPRI-KPDC-00002810). Reference Choi, H., Kwon, H., Kim, S. J., & Kim, B. M. (2024). | Result | kpdc.Antarctic_ERA5_TCO3_SONmean_anomaly_earlySFW_1979-2022.csv | These two datasets provide information on springtime (September–November) stratospheric ozone anomalies classified according to the timing of the stratospheric final warming (SFW). | 352 Bytes | Request required |
| Result | kpdc.Antarctic_ERA5_TCO3_SONmean_anomaly_lateSFW_1979-2023.csv | If an SFW event occurs in January, its onset date is assigned to the previous year. For example, if the SFW onset date is identified as 3 January 2000 during a late-SFW year, this event is considered the SFW onset for year 1999. Therefore, in the file kpdc.Antarctic_ERA5_TCO3_SONmean_anomaly_lateSFW_1979-2023, the values listed for the years 2000, 2022, and 2023 correspond to the SON mean ozone anomalies for 1999, 2021, and 2022, respectively. | 305 Bytes | Request required |
