CTD profiles observed in the Terra Nova Bay, Ross Sea, in December 2022 (ANA13A)
In December 2022, we conducted an expedition in Terra Nova Bay, Ross Sea as part of the ARAON cruise (ANA13A) to investigate how the melting of glaciers and sea ice impacts the marine environment. During the expedition, we collected CTD profiles at 66 different stations. These profiles provided measurements of conductivity, temperature, and depth in the water column. Our analysis of these measurements aimed to understand the changes in the physical properties of the seawater caused by the influx of meltwater from glaciers and sea ice in Terra Nova Bay.
