Antarctic SON Mean Total Column Ozone Anomalies (ERA5, 1979–2022)
This dataset was processed during the research workflow associated with Choi et al. (2024) and is intended for the analysis of long-term springtime stratospheric ozone variability over Antarctica. | Result | kpdc.Antarctic_ERA5_TCO3_SONmean_anomaly_1979-2022.csv | This dataset contains the springtime (SON: September–October–November) total column ozone anomalies averaged over the Antarctic region (65°S–90°S). The anomalies were calculated from ERA5 reanalysis data for the period 1979–2022, using 1979–2022 as the climatological base period. The original ERA5 total column ozone values (kg m⁻²) were converted into Dobson Units (DU). Each value in the dataset represents the SON-mean ozone anomaly for a given year. Variable definitions: Year – calendar year SON – SON-mean Antarctic ozone anomaly (DU), averaged over 65°S–90°S | 650 Bytes | Request required |
